Pro Tips

1

Jib Halyard Marks

Use a Sharpie to mark your jib halyard at each wind setting. Makes consistent rig tension super easy to replicate race after race.

2

Avoid Luff Sag

General rule: avoid luff sag as the breeze fills. Adjust rake and bridle together to keep proper leach trim.

3

Cunningham Tension

With North Sails flex rope: tack down 2–3 cm from the color band. Keep the area between Cunningham and tack flat.

4

Mast Pin Position

Zim sets the base in the second hole from the front. Adjust forward or back for personal sailing style and weight combo.

5

Wedge Settings

Each wedge = 5mm from neutral. More wedge = more mast bend = more power. Dial it in by small increments.

6

Personal Sailing Style

These are starting points. Your weight, technique, and boat will cause variation. Experiment and mark what works.
